Daisy was a black and white pekingese that I rescued from the Humane Society. We were meant to be together because my family and I had not meant to go to the Humane Society, but I felt a feeling that urged me to go. Thats when we found "Angel". My name is Anjelica. Coincidence? She had just arrived 5 minutes before my arrival at the Humane Society. I later changed her name to "Daisy". 2 years after we got her, she was diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease. Which means that one of her discs in her spine has been dislodged and is pinching a nerve. That nerve controlled her hind legs so she could no longer walk on four. When it was time to bring her to the neurosurgeon, they did an MRI, and found that she had a tumor growing in her brain. The surgeon said that the best thing to do was to put her to sleep. It was especially hard to do because my family and I had lost another dog member of the family- Reggie. He was a Golden Retriever with Leukemia Cancer.rn Now we have another Golden Retriever named Joey, who has now grieved over the loss of his brother, and sister...Daisy and Reggie will be forever missed.
